Whisky & Cigar pairing

If you fancy a cigar with your glass of the 50 Year Old Double-Matured, here is the recommendation of Cigar Expert Eddie Sahakian from Davidoff of London: the Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed Robusto
"It starts with some paper and spice but quickly transforms into a sweeter and hugely entertaining cigar. This will perfectly match the complexity of the %0 Year Old, and its flavours from both Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks"

"It comes on surprisingly round and lively, full of honey and fruits like dark cherry and blueberry. The sherry influence is most evident on the back of the palate, when rich, slightly tart raisin notes come to the fore. The dry, oaky spice does make itself felt, especially on the finish, but it’s gentle and warm rather than harsh and hot—a small miracle considering the age of the blend. "
